Greetings and Namaste!

Intentional Birth is about integrating evidence based education with the law of attraction, traditional yoga, meditation and spirituality during the  transformations of pregnancy, birth and beyond. When we prioritize self care and our connection to the world around us we thrive.

Creation is unity that ripples out.  A baby brings together a Mother, a Father, Siblings, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and community continues to blossom.  Surrounding yourself with a supportive team will increase your confidence and build life long connections.  They don't call it labor coincidentally.  We work really hard.  Birth will require endurance with the ability to surrender and rest into the experience.

I became passionate about birth even before I had my first baby in 2013.  I was inspired after watching "The Business of Being Born".  Women deserve to be treated as individuals and if birth is going to be profitable it shall be in our favor.  As consumers we can take charge of our birth experience by learning how to navigate our options.  As a birth and postpartum doula I advocate emotional and physical support for labor, birth and beyond for every woman regardless of background or preferences.  Life is amazing!  Birth is amazing! Our bodies are magnificent! I believe there is no right way or wrong way to birth.  There is just birth and I support you by meeting you where you are, in the moment, every step of the way.

I have been practicing yoga and meditation for over 10 years.  After the birth of my first baby I became a certified yoga teacher and have been expanding my knowledge from there.  I am trained as a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator.  I am certified in Dancing for Birth, children yoga, prenatal yoga and advanced 500 hr yoga. I plan to continue to learn my entire life.

When I am not at a birth or teaching a class I enjoy dancing, spending time outdoors, gardening or hiking, learning, traveling, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.  I am a proud parent of two girls who were born at home.  Currently my side project is converting a school bus to an RV, because why not?
